Provide engineering support in the mechanical, electrical and software processes of the multiple project phases/gates from initiation to execution to completion including buyoff and gradual launch; Maintain and apply broad knowledge in quality studies, cycle time optimization, and production enhancement; Launch and lead various automotive programs; Design, debug, and commission fully automated assembly processes; Evaluate designs to ensure efficiency, performance, and quality; Review product designs to evaluate manufacturability; Promote and participate in multifunctional continuous improvement teams that improve assembly and machining quality and productivity; Perform finite element analysis on both static and dynamic components to determine stresses, deflections, and failure boundaries; Investigate parameters, compute loads, force factors, speed, and sequencing of pneumatic System, payloads of robot and effectors; Execute stress analysis for clamps and various tooling controls; Using knowledge of Manufacturing processes, identify potential changes to improve manufacturing processes or cycle time and throughput; Prepare documentation for new manufacturing processes or engineering procedures; Responsible for conducting all necessary estimates and cost of material, equipment, labor, and installation; Troubleshoot product problems involving designs, materials, and processes; Work with key internal and external customers to ensure effective Manufacturing engineering support is being provided. Support a robust customer feedback mechanism; Work hand to hand with production support and maintained body shop objectives; Evaluate logic files and hardware prints products to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards..
